Outlaw Wrestling Lands Regional TV Deal to Launch “Lawless” in Pittsburgh Market

PITTSBURGH, Pa. — November 2, 2025 — Outlaw Wrestling today announced a new broadcast agreement to air its weekly television series “Lawless” across Western Pennsylvania, with an initial 24-month regional run centered on the Steel City beginning January 2026. The Pittsburgh market is the region’s cultural and economic hub, making it a strategic home base for the promotion’s first televised footprint. (Wikipedia)

“It is with great enthusiasm that I can announce our new series ‘Lawless’ will begin airing in January 2026 on Pittsburgh’s Local Sports. Pro wrestling has many hard knocks names that want to prove themselves. We are not looking for names who think wrestling is all about the ‘superstardom’ and fame. No, it’s about what they deliver between those 4-posts under the bright lights, when it matters the most.” — Charles Knight, CEO, Outlaw Wrestling

Why Pittsburgh, why now

Pittsburgh is one of the country’s larger TV markets, with about 1.17 million TV homes for the 2024–25 season, giving emerging sports properties a meaningful regional reach. That strong local audience—paired with the area’s long sports heritage—makes Western Pennsylvania an attractive launchpad for new live sports programming. (National Media Spots)

The broader regional sports ecosystem has also remained active, with SportsNet Pittsburgh—the area’s dedicated RSN—now jointly owned by the Penguins and Pirates, reflecting sustained local demand for sports content and production infrastructure. While Outlaw Wrestling’s deal is separate, that backdrop underscores the market’s appetite for live competition on television. (AP News)
