How Outlaw Wrestling came to be

Outlaw Wrestling: Forged in Steel, Fueled by Passion
Outlaw Wrestling was born from the ashes of failure and the fire of redemption. Founded by Charles Knight, a lifelong wrestling fan turned promoter, Outlaw Wrestling is more than just another wrestling organization. It’s a movement built on grit, heart, and rebellion.
Charles’ story began years ago with a small, underground fight club–style promotion he ran out of a basement. Raw, loud, and full of chaos, it was a taste of something real, but it wasn’t meant to last. When the venture collapsed, most people would’ve walked away. Charles didn’t.
Returning to his hometown of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, he brought with him lessons learned the hard way and a burning determination to do it right this time. Scouring the city that shaped him, he found the perfect symbol for what he wanted Outlaw Wrestling to be. An old, abandoned steel mill, scarred and silent from decades of use. Through grit and vision, he bought it out of foreclosure and rebuilt it into “The Foundry”, a one-of-a-kind wrestling arena forged from concrete and steel.
Today, The Foundry stands as both home and heart to Outlaw Wrestling, a cathedral for the outcasts, the brawlers, and the dreamers who live for the roar of the crowd. With room for 10,000 screaming fans, it’s where stories of redemption, rivalry, and rebellion unfold every night under the bright lights.
For Charles Knight, Outlaw Wrestling isn’t just business, it’s a passion project born from a lifetime love of professional wrestling. From the basement days to the bright lights of The Foundry, his mission has never changed:
To give fans something real, raw, and unapologetically Outlaw.
Outlaw Wrestling
Forged in Steel. Built on Passion. Bound by Nothing.
